The Capital Region seems to love the Red Lobster on Wolf road. If you are going there, expect a long wait both to sit down and eat, and find a parking spot.

While I was in Troy recently, I drove around the block where a store I go to was located, about 5 times looking and hoping for someone to pull out and leave an opening I could get into. If I had this app before I got to the street the store I visit was on, I could have known where to park before I got there and saved myself a trip around the block.

How many times has this happened to you? You are driving down a street, late for an appointment and looking for a parking space, when suddenly you see a spot. You quickly parallel park and notice there is a parking meter that only takes quarters with 5 minutes left on it.

The City of Albany has been dealing with parking issues for years. Now, the Albany Common Council has agreed on a permit system to help residents more easily park near their homes.

Admit it - you've looked at those handicapped spots in the parking lot on a hot or cold day with a slight feeling of envy. Let's face it - we'd all love to have one of those spots BUT they do serve a purpose and are there for those who really need them. This guy is a straight evil genius! This Parking Ticket plot was his insurance form the moment they started dating.

Are we becoming too "sensitive" of a nation? If someone calls another person "fat" all hell breaks loose. Last month several girls were referred to as "Fat" on the their receipt from a restaurant, they wanted their meals for free because they were "offended." In Miami, FL a woman was reffered to as "Fat" on her valet parking ticket, now she is getting a year of free parking.

Last night was my first visit to Lake George NY, and to be honest with you I look forward to returning. The place was beautiful and alive with fun and I cannot wait to return. However, there is one person in Lake George who made my first visit incredibly special

A Wilmington, N.C., woman who is a military veteran parked her car in a spot designated for veterans only at a local grocery store.

When Mary Claire Caine came out after her grocery shopping last week, she was greeted with a note plastered to her window that scorned her for parking in a spot clearly marked for veterans only, WECT-TV reported.

Maybe this should just be the system for paying tickets.

I am a parking snob who can not parallel park because I like places with good parking but some in the Capital Region have awful parking lots where I don't have to parallel park and it makes you think: "What were they thinking when they built this place?" Continue reading…
